WARNING: Our Mac ‘N 3 Cheese may cause a serious addiction

Macaroni and cheese is one of life’s greatest pleasures. The combination of chewy pasta and the creamy cheese sauce is so addicting that second helpings are a sure thing. Since we love going extra with our dishes, here’s a mac and cheese recipe that uses three cheeses to make your fave comfort meal more decadent and indulgent. You can experiment with different cheeses like Emmenthal, Gruyère, or even blue cheese for this recipe.

Makes 6-8 servings

2 cups Elbow macaroni

¼ cup Butter
¼ cup Flour
2 ½ cups Warm milk
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Ground white pepper
¼ tsp Spanish paprika
½ bar Cream cheese
2 cups Grated cheddar
¼ cup Parmesan cheese

¼ cup Fine breadcrumbs
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
¼ cup Grated cheddar cheese
3 tsps Cooked bacon bits

1. Cook elbow macaroni until al dente.

2. While macaroni is cooking, prepare the cheese sauce. In a saucepot, melt butter. Add flour and cook for a minute.

3. Pour in milk and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt, white pepper, and Spanish paprika. Add the cream cheese. Mix with a whisk over low heat until sauce becomes thick and smooth.

4. Add cheddar cheese. Stir with a wooden spoon until cheese melts. Mix in the elbow macaroni and let cook in the sauce for 1-2 minutes.

5. Transfer cooked pasta with cheese sauce to a baking dish. Top with fine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and more cheddar cheese. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until top becomes bubbly and golden brown. Sprinkle with bacon bits, if desired.
