Have a Festive Noche Buena at Chef Laudico Guevarra’s in San Juan



Sitting on the friendly-neighborhood of San Juan lies Chef Laudico Guevarra’s heritage house decorated with green and red ornaments with glimmering lights. Guevarra’s restaurant gives off a Yuletide vibe, inviting us to spend our holiday lunch or dinner in this heritage house. Chef Roland “Lau” Laudico, being famous for rendering quality Filipino cuisine, surprises us with a buffet of our Noche Buena favorites.

Guevarra’s has over 80 Filipino dishes on their regular buffet menu. But during this holiday season, we could savor and enjoy added 30-plus Pinoy Christmas dishes to be rotated on different days. Giving us a reason to come back as often as we want as there’s always something new for us to try.

Here’s what to expect on Chef Lau’s holiday buffet table. Orange Chicken Galantina, chicken stuffed with seasoned pork meat in orange sauce, Pata Hamonado, pineapple cured fresh pork-ham, Menudo Pastel Pie, your traditional home-cooked Menudo baked in a pastry crust, and Lengua Ala Pobre with Mushrooms, a slow-braised ox tongue with creamy mushroom gravy.

As an all-time Pinoy Christmas favorite, bibingka and puto bumbong are also on the list. Their bibingka is cooked in an old-fashioned way as its soft texture and sweet taste makes us all nostalgic. While their bibingka is prepared in a traditional way, their puto bumbong made us excited and curious as it is made with a unique twist. They’re rolled up into bite-sized balls then deep-fried making it crispy. Enjoy these treats with a side of sweet caramel or coconut syrup dip!

Finish off your feast with this luscious cake dessert that always deserves a place on the holiday table. Crema De Fruta is cake layered with fruits, cream, and gelatin.

Indulge in this unlimited Christmas feast for only P599 net per person on weekdays and P699 net per person on weekends and holidays. The buffet is available from 10am to 1pm,  1pm to 4pm, 6pm to 10pm.
