Need an easy-to-cook dinner idea? Then prepare this lovely Salsa Marinara Pasta with just four easy steps. To get the flavors going, have your seafood elements like clams, crab meat, and shrimps fresh and cleaned. The best thing about this dish though is that you don’t even have to have fresh seafood to cook this. Some groceries and supermarkets have frozen mixed seafood packs, which makes seafood sourcing more convenient making your weeknight dinner sumptuous and rewarding.
Makes 2 servings
4 Tbsps Extra virgin olive oil
2 Garlic cloves, sliced
A pinch of dried chili flakes
4 Fresh tomatoes, chopped
300g Vongole or Manila clams
200g Shrimps, peeled
50g Crab meat
3 cups Spaghetti noodles, cooked al dente
Salt and ground black pepper, to season
Chopped Italian flat leaf parsley, for garnish
1. Pour the extra virgin olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, chili flakes, and chopped tomatoes.
2. Add clams, shrimps and crab meat. Cover to cook, allowing clams to release their natural juices.
3. When clams are open season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mix with cooked spaghetti noodles and toss in parsley.
4. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with more chopped parsley before serving.
