This Bacon-Hash Brown Combination is the Bomb!

Why does everything taste good with bacon? This simple salty-savory porky treat can really turn the most mundane dishes into a decadent-tasting viand. It’s also very fun to cook with. Take for instance, this easy-to-do but very flavorful party food that you can cook in a flash. Serve it as an appetizer or as bar chow during viewing parties and fun gatherings. You can even pair it different dips like sweet and sour sauce, mustard, and roasted sesame dressing!


Makes 6 servings

6 Frozen hash browns, thawed then crumbled

1 Egg

½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese

2 Tbsps Flour

Salt and pepper, to season

24 slices Bacon

Vegetable oil, for frying

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crumbled hash browns, egg , mozzarella cheese, and flour. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well-combined.
  2. Using your hands, roll about two tablespoons of the hash brown mixture then wrap it with a slice of bacon. Secure the wrap with a toothpick. Repeat until all the hash brown mixture has been used.
  3. In a heavy bottomed pot, fry the cheesy bombs on each side until the bacon is crispy. Serve warm with your choice of dip.
