Land meets sea in this delicious fried rice recipe!
Bagoong Fried Rice with Chicken and Danggit
Makes 2 servings
2 Tbsps Vegetable oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Bagoong
½ cup Diced leftover chicken
2 Eggs, beaten
2 cups Cooked rice
2-3 pcs Danggit, fried to a crisp and chopped coarsely
*Pinch of chicken powder and sugar
*Pinch of salt and pepper
- Heat a wok or frying pan over medium heat. Add oil and stir fry garlic.
- Toss in bagoong and flaked or diced cooked chicken. Remove to a plate.
- To the same wok, add cooking oil. When oil is hot, toss in beaten eggs and swirl just until egg is almost set.
- Add the cooked rice, chicken and crumbled danggit. Toss rice to distribute ingredients evenly. Season with chicken powder, sugar, salt and pepper.
